Ceremonial handover of the first locomotive of the 750.7 series
A new locomotive of the 750.7 series for passenger transport from the production of the CZ LOKO, a.s. Česká Třebová Company enters the Czech railway lines.
Public presentation and ceremonial handover of the first locomotive of the 750.7 series key took place on the Prague Central station on 22.12.2010; the CZ LOKO, a.s. Company modernizes the relevant series for the Czech Railways (České dráhy, a.s.) company. The chairman of the Board of Directors and director general of the Company, Mr. Josef Bárta, handed over the symbolic key to the 750.701-5 locomotive to Mr. Antonín Blažek, the general director´s deputy of the Czech Railways for passenger transport.
After submission of the locomotive 750.701-5 went on his first ride from Prague - Central Station to the city Ceske Budejovice and back (there should be these locomotives currently operated).
The first two locomotives that were put into operation and the manufacturing of which was completed at the end of the year 2010 will be followed by deliveries of 17 more modern diesel- electric locomotives that will be used by the Czech Railways for passenger transport. The whole Contract for 19 locomotives modernization will be completed in the year 2012.
